Deleting your Luminary account

From the app

Open Settings, scroll to Account and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. It happens straight away.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, asking for your account to be deleted. We will action it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

What gets deleted

Everything, permanently and at once:

• Your account, name and email address
• The investors you follow and your watchlist
• Your alerts and alert history
• Your notification tokens, so no further notifications can reach you

There is no grace period and no archived copy. We cannot restore a deleted account.

What is not affected

• Your subscription. Deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel through Google Play or the App Store, whichever you subscribed with, or you will keep being charged.
• Trade filings. These are public regulatory records and are not yours; they stay in the app for everyone.
• On-device data such as learning progress. Uninstalling removes it.

Prefer to keep the account?

Turning off notifications in Settings stops all alerts without deleting anything.
